Children’s Hospital (BCCH), attending multiple clinics. We also attend clinics at Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children with the brain injury unit and the B.C. Center for Ability. Certified Prosthetist: The current owner/prosthetist is looking for an appropriate candidate to look after his clients in the manner to which they have become accustomed. For the right person there will be an opportunity after 12 months to become an associate within the company and to create a level of earning potential based on personal desire to perform. Future opportunities would include a partial or full ownership of the company. The present owner wishes to phase out over a 6 year period.
Shop Assistant: Duties would include: Crutch Manufacturing (customizing and assembling crutches; repair and alteration of all types of crutches); general repair and cleaning of machinery; janitorial and other duties as designated by the Technical Manager (ie: assisting in the manufacture of prosthetic sockets).
For both positions, salary and compensation packages would be commensurate with experience. We are looking for candidates who are receptive to thinking 'outside the box' and have excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience in the prosthetic field would be an asset but in the position of Shop Assistant it is not necessary.
